A laptop that can flash images on most walls
MANILA, Philippines—A laptop that has a built-in projector, anyone?
Japanese PC maker Fujitsu recently came out with a laptop fitted with a pico projector.
The Lifebook SH761 is Fujitu’s flagship device that features a removable optical drive. Once removed, a pico projector accessory, which is sold separately, may be inserted in its place turning the laptop into a useful device for presentations.
This premium business laptop, which is powered by Intel’s second generation Core processor and NVIDIA graphics processor, also has a unique ergonomic scroll wheel that sits beside the borderless touchpad.
It is also fitted with LED RF based fingerprint sensor with vertical function. Fingerprint sensor technology in notebooks isn’t new, but what sets this feature apart from the rest is the software that comes with it. With the software, the fingerprint scanner isn’t only limited for user identification process to gain access to the notebook, it is also used to gain access to multiple Web services or accounts as the feature has the ability to keep and secure multiple passwords.
Another unique feature is a filter that traps dust coming in from the exhaust system to ensure that the inside of the device is dust-free for optimum operation at all times. The small dust filter, which resides at the bottom of the laptop, can easily be taken out and washed with water.
Apart from a spill-proof keyboard, the Lifebook SH761 boasts of a tough magnesium alloy body and features a 13.3-inch SuperFine HD backlit display that has 300 nits brightness.
Fujitsu also announced the launch of a new line of laptops powered by Intel’s second generation Core processors—the Lifebook SH561, Lifebook NH751, Lifebook P771 and PH701, Lifebook T901, Lifebook AH531 and Lifebook LH701 and LH531.
Edmund Lim, product marketing manager, Fujitsu PC Asia Pacific Ltd., said the new laptops are energy efficient and equipped with user-friendly features that could satisfy the needs of even the most demanding business professionals.
